During our April meeting, we completed the Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden journey by making a troop banner. In the Daisy Flower Garden journey, the girls are supposed to have (1) learned the Girl Scout Promise (2) know about the ten parts of the Girl Scout Law, and (3) worked on a project as a troop. This was a terrific way to bring together all of the things we've learned in the last two years! It was fun to see the girls work together to create their banner...everyone had a voice in the design, and everyone worked hard on their part! Way to go, Daisies!

Visit to the Vet
Our visit to the vet was part of our 5 Flowers, 4 Stories, 3 Cheers For Animals! Journey. We had SO much fun learning about pets and what the vet does, and petting kittens!
This is the x-ray of a pregnant cat. See the backbone at the top? There are six kittens!

Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden!
As part of the Welcome to the Daisy Flower Garden journey, the girls learned how to care for plants. We talked about all of the things plants need: air, sunlight, water, and soil. The Daisies were all excited to have their own daffodil to take home. We know that bees are an important part of pollination, and we made bees that can travel from flower to flower in a garden that we created on a paper plate
